Dismounted Men-At-Arms (unit #3)

Impetus Unit Type: FP
Base Size: 8cm x 3cm
Manufacturer: Corvus Belli
Comments:
For this unit I mixed dismounted knights and billmen models. My goal was to produce a base of men-at-arms almost exclusively armed with two-handed weapons. I found both of these model codes very quick to paint - even more so because of the small number of shields.

they look great! i am trying hard not to be tempted into 15mm for Impetus, but you are making it very difficult....

I have no idea why, but this stand makes me want to yell "Aaaarch!" like a pirate every time I see it.

Very good, looks quite dynamic. Something like that I'm planning for my own HYW army for Impetus (but in 28mm).

Btw, I'm missing the former design of your blog. The gallery headers were my personal favorites.

Anyway,
cheers

I was also fond of the previous layout, but it was starting to get a little cluttered. I found all of the "stuff" on the sides distracting, and I wanted to clean up so that the reader's attention was drawn to the actual posts. I've saved my last template and header images in case I decide to go back.

Thanks again for your interest gentlemen. All of the paint is done now, and the last couple of units, as well as full army shots, will be posted in the coming week(s)
